Udupi: ATM Machine burgled

Udupi, June 13: The ATM machine from the State Bank of India ATM unit at Court Road, Udupi, was found to have been stolen on Sunday morning. Police sources informed that the incident has taken place during late hours of Saturday. The incident came to light only on Sunday morning. The watchman was reportedly not present at the ATM center when the incident took place.
According to a source, Rs. 1451200/- expected to have been inside the machine. The ATM centre was inaugurated a week ago. There was no CCTV installed on the walls, police said. A case has been registered at the Udupi city police station. Investigation is underway. |
