Koteshwara: Traffic variation

A huge tree fell on the road near Koteswara on NH 17 and there was traffic jam for about three hours. Kundapur is witnessing heavy downpour since four days.
A huge pipal tree got uprooted infront of Majestic in Koteswara, and as there was no vehicle movement on this occasion, no damage was witnessed.
Forest department and police personnel rushed to the spot and made alternative facility for the vehicle movement.
High tides are witnessed at Maravante-Trasi and the petty shops near the shore are in danger. Low lying areas are inundated. And at several places trees have uprooted. |
